OLYMPIC PICTOGRAMS

Based on the iconography of Otl Aicher's pictograms for the Olympics in Munich 1972, I produced a series of images that reflect the very simplification by photographic means.
The images were produced on commission by Getty Images, Japan.
The models were official Japanese Olympic athletes.
